we trailered to blind 35 off 510 and went on old triple AAA to get around logging operations and went into interior using fireroads and logging roads and went around the backside of the mine which is all legal and onto trail 14 where it connects with ford road...where upon we saw all manners of 4 wheel drive pickups tearing it up towards skanee and busting up the trail and rivers...most of it is on mead paper company land I believe...you can run any manner of vehicle up there after march 31...before that...only sleds...afterwards your on your own....becareful though many many hazards but worth every second...still 3 feet deep and we were on 12 inches new fluff...we would go in fireroad from AAA and run in woods taking lefts and rights and pop back out by highway go along find another opening...in you go...then at the tree head towards lanse...it was all untouched...so was down moose trail and out in the yellow dog plains which is legal same as algers plains...I will try to get pics on today. pack it up and head on up...GAS EM UP BOYS...we going again too...in 2 weeks

trails are currently open till APRIL 15th in some parts....as per the DNR SNOWMOBILE RULES....

The opening and closing of snowmobile trails is at the discretion of each county. Snowmobile trails which cross DNR lands are opened and closed consistent with the surrounding county (or counties). Whenever possible, the opening and closing of snowmobile trails is done on a county-wide basis, however localized conditions may require localized trail opening and closing. It is the responsibility of the county to provide notification about the status of snowmobile trails

somebody's high!!! into june???
I believe it. Two years ago if you knew where to look there was almost surely rideable snow Memorial Day on the Keweenaw. From what I've gathered some places of the Huron Mountains are able to hold snow just as if not longer than the Keweenaw in the spring.
