one of our past customers is goofy600 who eventually moved to the northwoods and ran into him at trail 107 operating a groomer one night when out for a ride with whitedust, dfattack and his son, venturenorth and I.... jump a few years ahead january 20th 2025 I roll into the Seney gas station with venturenorth to get a trail pass, we pull up and there is a groomer parked there, I get out of my truck and the groomer driver gets out and starts yelling "hey... we charge you Wisconsin f'rs more up here", I was like... what?? repeated it again until I realized he too is a customer of ours LOL!! what is it with all you southern boys driving groomers in the north woods, this case way up in the north woods? LOL

Seems they followed the snow north, eh! Smart bilers in my book. Wife and I thought about doing it 15 years ago, but didn't.

Hey, that's my goal too, as a "southern guy" (Ohio). Wife has already approved the plan to get a small retirement place in the U.P., now I just gotta get to retirement and then find someone who will take me on as a volunteer driver.

Hope to see you back up here soon, our trails are barely hanging in there and holy crap are there a lot of people up here which is taking it’s toll on everything.

Yes, my wife usually does most responding on our facebook page and it is almost a daily question. One of my drivers said on his day there had to be 30ish and the LVD plaza and 75-80ish at the casino. The store at the plaza and the BP station in Lando ran out of trail stickers. So yes been crazy.
We were at Lake Superior Brewing Co. Thursday night and they were throwing a birthday party for someone that was from Ohio, wasn't you by chance was it? not sure if he was already living there or not? Good for you guys!! hope it works out for you, is our plan as well eventually and i could see myself becoming a groomer driver up there.
