I don't know but if they run OVER the ice....don't eat them....run away as fast as you can!

Not sure where you are but runs go well beyond ice....catching the right nite is the key.....if they run you need to be there. Lots of fun for sure.

did it every yr as a kid have not been drinking/smelting in over 25yrs.

Friday and Saturday night (4/12-13) in Port Washington, WI, big smelt fry run by the American Legion. Never been there as I usually attend the one in Harvard, IL on 4/19. This year I'm am out of town for that weekend so I decided to take a road trip to Port for their activities!

The Harvard one is a good time. Went last year. Met a lot of cool people in line. About a hour and a half wait but all the beer you can drink.
Bring your own tarter sauce.
