Snocap canvas trailer covers

Does anybody out there have one?
Do you like it?
Is it durable?
Can it stand up to sun?
Does it interfere with drive off shields?

Thanks!

I have one on a 3-place Floe with the drive off shields and I love it. The mounted it right behind the shields. I leave mine outside during the winter but in the summer it is inside storage. The canvas is holding up very well after 3 winters so far. It tows awesome (very light).

yep, its way better than covering sleds, especially 4 of em!
havent had to test that one yet
ours is always inside
um, we have a ramp that we move to the front both sides, and no real issues.

You answer questions just like I do!

Thanks to both of you!

We have a 14 foot Karavan with the Snocap on it and love it. Had it now for 7 years and have had no issues. We added a gas door to ours when we ordered it and I would highly recommend this option. I also added two tent trailer interrior lights to the inside of the Snocap.

Looks like you are able to squeeze 3 sleds in there with the snocap on? Are those all 121"? We put 3 on our 14', but the rear one hangs off a little bit. I am not sure if we could do so without having it hang off at all.

2 of the sleds are 144's and one is a 121. How I do it is put the long tracks in first, y them out and the lift them up and place a doubled up 2x10 3 feet long under each track and then the last sled just drives straight in. Works slick...... Still have room behind each 144 for gear or the kids 120.

That sounds like it could be our solution then. Did you add the snocap yourself? If so, how much did it cost to install?

I had them install it. It was only a little extra to have them install it. Worth the $ in my book.
We're looking for a 4 place so this trailer will be for sale soon. Kids starting to come with so we need a larger trailer and I will most likely be purchasing a 4 place and installing another Snocap on it.

options

forgot to mention we have the lights and gas doors too, seriously, don't go without them! there is also a different back zip in door that has extensions built into it for long tracks to hang out of, we traded them our's with the extensions for a normal one cause pops didnt like how it looked.

I had one yrs back held up well always thought it was kinda jimmy rig the way you had to prop up fr door with a alloy poll and the 50 or so zip ties holding cover to frame.
the up side was it was on a 14 and I had a pocket sewn in the ars end to accommodate the rear of the sled.then we all got 136 and longer so he sewed the rear pocket bigger.it was ok but my next trailer was a Triton with the Triton alloy clam. I have a bud who has a topper for his truck made buy that guy it has held up well think it is a 03 and sits about 1.5ft taller than the cab.his shop was about 10 min from my house you see allot of odd custom stuff they build. there was a guy kinda close buy yrs back who also made some sloppy homemade looking things I think they were called toasters or something went to see his stuff when shopping and left after 2 min.

now that I think about it he had given me a flat panel and a 121 panel when I had the cover made for my 14ft they zipped in and then he made me one for the longer sleds and I did not even have to bring it in he must have had a pattern for rear pouches.and with the 121 pouch on I could get cover rolled up with out removing but with 151 pouch on I had to un zip and remove rear pouch to get cover rolled up

also have them Install if you don't you will be bolting frame together bolting hinges etc etc if they do it is all welded .but from what I understand you will prob be thinking about selling tour trailer and buying a real enclosed after getting your quoit now days

My buddy had the 2 place Arctic Hut brand on his 14 foot Sledbed with the salt shields on it. We had to stop several times on the way up North a few years ago to keep tightening down, eventually the frame started to bend and the canvas started to rip, so we stopped and took the canvas off and took the frame off when we got to conover. He threw it away when he got home.
