Snow Removal

What does everyone use for their snow removal operations either at work or at home?
i have a John Deere 4115 compact tractor (chains on all 4 ) with a 54" blade on the front and a 50" pto blower on the back. Works Awesome, but man do you eat the snow in the face from the blower on a windy day. Just upgraded to this New Holland to battle the snow, however, now we need something to Battle. Will a certain someone please make the Blizzard call ! I should mention we use the tractors at our place in the U.P as we do not get enough snow at home to justify this thing.
It's a New Holland TN65D with a loader bucket and I also have a 9' push box on it.

I wish I needed something like that but with this "wacked" winter I could probably get by with a broom. I think I only used the blower 3 or 4 times. But boy you just wait until March and April get here, it's gonna snow like crazy!!!

$12 Home Depot snow shovel! Both the wife and myself have 4 wheel drive so why shovel. LOL
I do have a snow blower in shed but haven't gotten it out in 3 years, probably need a carb clean by now.

Well I'm in NW Indiana, so not apples to apples. I had my dads old 8/24 Toro then ended up with a Craftsman DLT2000 with a 42" Blade it did ok... for like 10 years. In 2010 I bought a Superplow and loved it but I bought it with the Idea it would make the job faster, and it did but then I soon found out it took longer because I ended up plowing family and neighbors houses too. Finally, sold it at the end of 2016. Now I'm back to my Craftsman DLT2000 with a 48" two-stage blower. Honestly, it's still overkill for my driveway but more power is always good! With that said, I have now problems even in the big storms! It does the best job, and cleans the most off. The plow was good but you notice how uneven a "flat" concrete drive is when you run an 8' blade across it. But have to admit this year I've only used the blower once. It will melt in a day anyways...

This is and old picture was taken on an older asphalt drive so lots of high and low spots but it still did a good job. The plow attached to the 2" receiver. You could push or pull snow with it and there was no hard wiring to the truck. It was all self contained and had a key chain remote to lift it up and down. I could direct snow left or right because the blade had built in tilt to the heavy load side. Once you got use to it it was really easy to use. It only took about 30 seconds to install or remove from the truck too.

John Deere 828 2 stage walk behind, Ariens 8hp 2 stage 26", both electric start. Up here you really need two if one goes down. The Ariens is probably 30+ years old but just saws through any type of snow. The JD 828 is better in dry snow. I do two very long driveways and if we have 10-12"+ of heavy wet snow I let our plow guy come in for $40 per driveway. Snowblowers up here really get a workout, spare belts, shear pins, scraper bar, skid shoes, a must. Oh yeah, and 7 good shovels for the walks and stairs!

Kubota 2660 with 54” front mount blower and heated cab. 4wd And chains. Great little tractor.

Ariens 30” walk behind, JD 1026 (with soft cab) with front end pto blower, and a Stihl backpack. Wife likes to shovel and “scalp” the edges so I have to wait until she gets the driveway done so I can take care of the neighbors!

Bought a second identical Ariens for the daughter’s house. Works fantastic when I get the call it isn’t working and I can snap photo of ours and tell her what to do . Bonus is the wife has one for when I am sledding up north and she is getting pounded by lake effect at home and shoveling isn’t going to cut it

Yep. This is our fourth big snow this winter and the 18”, gone in 3 days, 30” gone in 4 days. The snow from two weeks ago melted two days ago to give us this snow, wtf. Our lake froze two weeks ago and was moaning all week and started to open back up two days ago.
