Snowfall to date

Hey John!

I've been kinda wondering about this....how do the snowfall reports for houghton county (206.5 inches to date) and keweenaw county (209.7 inches to date) have over 20 inches more than you have to date? is it maybe b/c they are in higher terrain that you...or is it maybe a localized effect?

Thanks!

It could be any number of things like terrain or proximity to some heavier banding of snow with some of the LES events.

Delaware (Keweenaw CO) is not much higher than me, but did get some decent banding earlier in the winter that I did not get and Painesdaile (Houghton CO) is higher in elevation than I am.

Who know's, maybe I will catch up before the season is over!
