Hmm. I am watching the weather now, and the snow line isn't even up to GB yet. Maybe getting some lake effect? Well, either way it's supposed to get pretty chilly down here this week. Should help getting you guys up there froze up a little.

I have about 3/4" right now here. Not sure how far west the low will travel. Some channels talking up to 12" for Madison. I hope not. Ground is very soft and mushy from all the rain.

Yes it snows here a lot.... been light since I got up 6AM ....our inch a day does add up over winter. Always about 20 more inches than Eagle River every year.

Every model run we are loosing snow, the 5pm run is showing around 2" from this storm??

Yep seems to be another bust for Vilas....darn dry air killer....Oh well what can you do but look for next opportunity. Maybe Forest will get it calling for more northeast WI & doable for me. Smart sledders didn't take this on the come for northwoods others can chase it maybe south of Wausau somewhere if stays snowing & no rain.

Sounds like live4now had even less in town we are 9 miles southeast of town so our 2-3 is same as you. Must have dropped off quickly going north. Oh well...we wait again.

In Conover we have a total of about 3" on the ground. That is about 1/2" residual, 1" from Wednesday night, 1/2" from Saturday's "non-event" storm and 1" from yesterday's "false alarm" storm.

Vilas may be opening tomorrow but I won't be going out.

As you know the tourists will be out in full force. As a former southern Wisconsinite, I'm all to familiar with riding on 4" of snirt. Who cares of the hyfax and carbides needed to be replaced after the trip.

Betcha the Eagle River area calls their trails fair to good! LOL!

Yikes!.... big difference at my house at Spectacle Lake I just removed every bit of 3 inches from decks & porch. 20 miles makes a difference.

Snowing pretty good in Phelps this morning another fluffy 2 to add to the 7 on the ground & moderate snow continues. Venturenorth is out there now riding & picture he sent me 42 miles out of Sayner somewhere looked really good. No idea where he was but somewhere in Vilas. My kids left this morning so I have some stuff to do in ER & will check out trails on my way in. Probably poke around with Apex xtx tomorrow as things starting to shap up. Typical in Phelps no hype snowstorm brings the most snow.lol :)
