Could be a good snow storm been snowing all morning & storm not arriving until 5ish PM!Graphics show snow where it is needed most but in less traveled trail areas.
Hmm. I am watching the weather now, and the snow line isn't even up to GB yet. Maybe getting some lake effect? Well, either way it's supposed to get pretty chilly down here this week. Should help getting you guys up there froze up a little.
I have about 3/4" right now here. Not sure how far west the low will travel. Some channels talking up to 12" for Madison. I hope not. Ground is very soft and mushy from all the rain.
Every model run we are loosing snow, the 5pm run is showing around 2" from this storm??
How do your cams look? 2-3 inches here 3 inches Rhinelander no big turnaround for us.Hey Pete. looks like I finally made it out of the "dry slot" for once!NWS still calling for 8-12" by me.

Vilas may be opening tomorrow but I won't be going out.
In Conover we have a total of about 3" on the ground. That is about 1/2" residual, 1" from Wednesday night, 1/2" from Saturday's "non-event" storm and 1" from yesterday's "false alarm" storm.

As you know the tourists will be out in full force. As a former southern Wisconsinite, I'm all to familiar with riding on 4" of snirt. Who cares of the hyfax and carbides needed to be replaced after the trip.
Betcha the Eagle River area calls their trails fair to good! LOL!
Big bust here, just a dusting.![]()
