Woke up to around 8" of snow in the last 3 or 4 hours. On one of the last days of March, wouldn't you know it!
This is a view of our backyard in Neenah, there was absolutely no snow in this area before 4 a.m.

Looks like me and eyeman are at Ground Zero for this one. Right down the middle of the Snow Train! More pictures to follow once I venture out.

Channel 11 in Green Bay said unofficially 9" on the weather deck! I can barely see the houses across the street right now. I would say its been snowing about 3" per hour since about 7am. 9:30 am now. It will mostly be gone by Monday.:ROFLMAO::cry::ROFLMAO::cry:

There was no snow on this woodpile when I went to bed last night.
Think of the fun we would have had if this had happened a month or two ago.

Just did a few measurements around the house. Easily 10-12” now. Weather channel app now says heavy snow until 4pm with 4-6” additional snow. Mother Nature does what she wants when she wants. Photos of my wood rack and across the street.

I feel for you, Personally, I am done with it right now. Bring Spring.
Agree, but there really is no Spring up here, we just slide into summer after a long drawn out winter. At least it's 40 and we are seeing some melting, still 2ft of snow in the woods. I'm glad we aren't getting 16" of heavy wet snow, my snowblower told me last week that it was very tired!

I just came in from clearing the driveway and sidewalk. I measured right around 14 inches here in Neenah. And since it's going to be sunny and in the 40's tomorrow....I used the snow rake to clear some of the gutters for the big melt that's coming.

Go figure, a little late but sure is a winter scene. Sunny and 40 in MW today, It's my guess that the trails will stay open until 3/31 in Vilas County.

Well Neenah and Green Bay were definitely in the thick of it. But, Menasha was ground zero. For those not in the know, Neenah and Menasha are connected. Menasha has a very competitive meteorologist.

The graph they showed earlier this morning had Kimberly at 21.5" 😳
Anyways I'm in between the 2....and it was pretty incredible watching it unfold.....just wish it would've been during winter.
I've yet to hear anyone explain what happened....from the 2" forecasted???

My guess, and it's only a guess is that we were directly in the path of the storm as it passed. A slow mover to begin with so we had about 10 hours of heavy snowfall. Officially, 17.5' for my neighborhood. What a shame this wasn't earlier as our local trails never opened.🙁
