Snowmobile Dollies

I bought mini moving dollies from harbor freight. They are $14 each, so for $42 you can have a set, one for your track and one for each ski. Cheaper than making them as I went there to get wheels to make my own. The wheels were more than the dollies plus I would have had to build them and buy wood. They have been working great so far.

Try the appliance movers from Menards, they have two sizes. I use the small ones, I would like larger wheels, but they work fine on a smooth surface. All wheels swivel. They are reasonably priced.

i bought a set of them and had them crush under the weight of the snowmobile over the summer.had to unbend them and drill holes so i could mount the platforms upside down.i will spend the money for better wheels and build my own this spring.

For under the track, just go to a local St. Vincent DePaul or Goodwill. Find an office chair on wheels that has aluminum or steel frame. Buy it, and remove the chair and post. This leves you with the chair wheels and the frame. This makes an excellent dolly under the track. You can come up with an axle or four actually- along with some lawn mower type wheels at Fleet Farm, etc. Then just fasten them to either a heavy 2x6 or a heavy hunk of steel. Total cost will be less than $35 bucks.

Been using them for 3 years, work great. They seem to go on sale every 2-3 weeks in my area for $9.99 each so $30 for three, can't buy the wheels for that.

$30.00 At Menards gets you a set that are already made and work just fine. I have a set under my Yamaha 4 stroke Venture 2 up and they work just fine for my heavy weight sled.
