What have you got that you think is a cool memory from sledding. New or old, show us a 1 or 2 things you have.

These are mine:

The sign is from the dealer that my dad bought his Scorpions from, back in the day. The figurine was an Arctic Cat, I believe. My mom modified it to be a Scorpion Sting because that is what dad was driving at the time. I think these are pretty cool, but then again I am a Scorpion guy.

I had a 1981 440 Sting. Closest ever to a cat I ever got. Bought at auction new. Rode it for 3 years and sold it for double what I paid. Sweet items!

That's me, my brother, and our family dog riding our first snowmobile on Christmas Day 1968.

I rummaged around and the only thing I could find is this key fob from my wife's 72 Chaparral SSII. It looks a little rough but it is over 40 years old. Amazing how this stuff gets lost. I had my blue metalflake "bucket" helmet up until a couple of years ago. Have a lot of old sledding photos (slides) that I haven't converted to digital but I'll get around to it some day.

Oh, and I still have my wife but I doubt if she would care much for being considered memorabilia.

Here's a shot of her riding that very sled. Yes, we really did have matching blue helmets. I guess it was a 70's thing.

Bearrassler, what do you know about those prints? I have two. They XLT and the 120. Are they really worth anything? The xlt one I have is numbered and signed, but the 120 is not.

Great photo of the Chaparral. Growing up we had a Thunderbird and an Executive. Great sleds for driving down the hay fields in summer....bogey wheels!

Gary, thanks for the A/C photo. In addition to the Chaparrals, we also had a Panther. Remember the gas tank located at the back of the seat? Get this tank buried in snow and it might just sit there until Spring...too heavy!.

I sort of miss the old, simplier days sometimes.

Yep, riding the oats straw just after the fields were combined was also great fun. Not much friction in straw but then there was the occasional patch of dirt.

Good stuff Bearrassler. Couldn't help but notice that the decanter (Viking I think) appears to have not been opened. If not, it's more than 12 year old spirits now.
