We are hosting a WI DNR Certified snowmobile safety course again this Fall. Our classes are held at Marshfield Police Dept, right off of Veteran's Pkwy at 110 W. 1st St. Class dates are December 1, 3 and 7,2009 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. We require students to pre-register. You can register by calling Dan at 715 387-2430. We ask that parents send something along for the student to eat, or have them fed prior to class starting. Vending machines are also available, but we cannot make change. Our class consists of 12 hours. This includes course study, including videos and discussion along with the test on the last night. Also, on the last night, we go over some basic maintenance information as well as how to change a spark plug, where your decals go, how to grease a sled, change a belt, check carbides, etc. Please send your student in a jacket that is warm and preferably for snowmobiling, as the garage isn't always warm and it may get dirty the last night.
