Looking for some suggestions on the best snowmobile tow strap. A 3 point or a 4 point strap looks to be about the best. Let me know what the best one is. Thanks for your input.

We have always just used a rope tied to the a-arms, ran through the ski loops to help steer the sled. We have pulled more sleds than I want to admit using this method with no issues.

Always begs the question: "why you need a tow rope?" But we all know SOMEONE will need it. Best part is, it's almost always NOT the guy that brings the rope. That's why I always bring one with! Murphy's Law! Or something like that. I'll be surprised if frnash doesn't comment.... He likes Murphy's Law..

Funny story: Buddy buys a brand new Ski Doo MXZ XRS 800. First trip out.... Y pipe bolts fall out! Good thing he stopped or it would have been toast. But guess who had the tow rope! Yep, wish I had the camera. There's me on my Poo pulling the big bad Ski Doo guy!

Same as bedgar7 just used boat rope hanging on wall carry in my saddle bag rigged to sled A arms & ski loops. Very important to carry scabby tow clutch belt so you don't ruin good belt. You will be pissed wrecking new belt on short or long tow.

I always carry 2 of the long straps from a ratchet strap.works for towing and wrapping around clutch when some one loses starter rope.also good so more than 1 guy can pull on strap when some one gets burred
