Snowy Range Late March 2011

Sorry these are so late!!! Unreal conditions when we were there! My sled is the 02 xcsp 600 short track with stock track on it that had NO buisness being up in that amount of snow! Sure had a blast though getting it buried in as much powder as i could find!! I did pretty good though for the amount of snow.

This was my first trip ever out west. I was assured by the group i went with that i would be just fine with a short track when going in late march. Lets just say i had the best time ever snowmobiling before! One things for sure i will be looking into purchasing a switchback sometime in the next year or two so i can fully enjoy both sledding in wisconsin and out west! Cant wait to do it again this year!

All it took was one trip and im hooked! Not that i wont still enjoy trail riding back here but what a rush being out there. Every new turn was pretty much an open playground to just go and see what i could climb and or jump!

i really enjoyed my first look at widowmaker. Before i went out i watched youtube video after video of people climbing it. Thought to myself that doesnt look so steep. Then we got to the base of it. WOW is all i have to say!!! amazing how videos never ever give things the justice they deserve!
