We had a great year as far as break downs and mishaps . Just a hood, and lots of oil and gas. My last ride of the year was with my 15 year old son, a week of great memories . I bought him another sled the other day. On our last day up there, all on his own,I was gone in the truck. He saw something happen near our cabin, he jumped on a sled and helped until first responders got there, once they showed up,they told him to go get more help, he found me and a few others to come and help. Everything turned out for the elderly lady. It was a proud moment when the fire dept explained what he did. He did admit ,it was fun shooting up and down M28 on my f7 looking for help, knowing he wouldn't get into trouble .

Maybe you should hang onto the mountain max so you've got a backup :)
The Mtn Max was a great sled for it's day and still is a somewhat capable but it cannot do this! Well, maybe it can do pic 3,,,lol. It's a good sled but 13 yr old tech is hard for this old man. I am trashed after riding today. The riding was epic and snow up to your nipples!

Both jackshaft bearings inside of the chaincase on the 05 Vector had to be replaced just after Xmas. The rear Ohlins clicker shock in the M10 skid on the Vector puked and was not fixable. Replaced it with another shock from Team Fast. Stuff happens!

Nothing, I put new skags on at 4000 miles, the only thing I have done to my sled except to add fuel and oil.

front bumper, belly pan brace, cracked hood, dented tunnel, bent footwell, cracked belly pan, broke a seat right off the sled, cracked rails, driveshaft bearing, bent trailing arm, bent steering post, snapped 2 ice scratchers, only blew 1 belt, and demolished a piston. I'd say it was a good year.

A belt, plugs and some pretty serious scratches. Amazing how far skis will bend on the newer sleds. Last year front and back bumpers and a lower A arm. Rode way better snow this year.

I guess that's what boondocking on no sleep does to ya! LOL I forgot one more, bent/cracked radius rod. Footwell/tunnel was from my buddy smashing into me on a road in mass city, cracked pan, trailing arm, and radius rod happened from climbing a huge hill on the pole lines in greenland on Dec. 7th and smashed a rock, bumper, pan brace, and hood were from trying to run over a tree in toivola that was bigger than i had originally thought, seat was from a dismount on the pole lines after getting punted off the sled from hitting a stump (again dec. 7th who woulda thunk), driveshaft bearing from running my track too tight so it wouldn't ratchet, ice scratchers from running 80 mph up and down trail 3, belt was from doing 95 mph down trail 3, piston was from overheating it back home on hardpack ice, the steering post I bent one direction from that rock incident that took out the pan, radius rod, and trailing arm, and later bent it the opposite direction running through some trees in south range dropped off a cornice drift and landed with my chest into the bars. There ya had it, a year end recap of my carnage LOL

I lost one outside idler wheel (bearing and spring clip are still there), chewed up a tail flap, snapped a starter rope and the face shield on my helmet.
