So where is everybody riding this weekend?

I'm going to try to remember to make this a weekly post.

Sweeperguy and myself are planning on heading to the Iron River, WI area on Sunday for a day trip.

Where's everybody else going or where are you already?

What trails do you use to get to Iron River? Do you go straight north on the corridor trail or do you go over by Barnes and then up? Also is the Tuscobia decent yet?

Either 27 or the unplowed roads. Lots of options as you likely know. Haven't been on the Tuscobia or Wild Rivers yet this year. My guess is after last nights 3" wet heavy snow it'll be pretty good.

We, last week and will be again this week, trailered to Salon Springs and rode from there.

Long thought we should do something like this. Local boating forum we always posted a thread with weekend dates then everyone kind of posted they're plans and where they were gonna be.
Kind cool way to meet more people.

I did this a couple times last year...or was it the year b4? It pretty much flamed out so I gave up. Maybe peeps don't want to give out their secret spots....the ones that 500 other sleds know about? Let's try it again!

Will do. We will be avoiding trails and be running unplowed roads. They should actually be better than last weekend. The trail traffic will be insane again this weekend.

Just read this AM on this board that the Chip is to be marked this weekend? I would call Deerfoot Lodge to confirm this.

The Chip Flowage is marked. 6-10" of ice according to the guys who staked it.

I also heard it was going to be staked this weekend. I'm heading up to Minocqua on Sat 16th and we're riding over to the flowage for a night. .Little concerned about trails.

I would think the trails will be insane. Way too much pent up energy out there right now.

Pats landing just said the flowage is staked and bumpy since there's not a lot of snow to cover the ice. At least it's staked! Lac Court Oreilles is getting staked ASAP. I'm heading to Mass on Sunday through Wednesday then Minocqua Saturday through Wednesday,the weekend days are pretty crazy busy but weekdays are very limited with riders.

The lakes fine there, plenty of ice. Actually parked and Crossed the lake to the boat launch
