I met a former data scientist from Google about 4 years ago, her comments would sadly support this. She left as she felt it was way too much intrusion on people.

There was an email going around with this joke years ago. It did not use google but the same storyline. and guy trying to order a pizza and the computer he's talking to telling him no...
I watched Demolition Man with my boys a few weeks ago. If you have not seen it lately, I suggest rewatching it. It's spot on the way they want to control every aspect of you life...
