Speed Run pics from 1970

I found some pictures that I took at the West Yellowstone Roundup back in March, 1970. The Ski Doo Eagle was the fastest if I rember right, at about 98MPH, followed by the Polaris X2 at about 96 MPH. The Sno-Pony made lots of noise but only went about 40 MPH. Both the Polaris and the Ski Doo had twin 3 cylinder motors.

Don't you wonder what they were thinking with the Polaris "windshield"? Those were some brave boys!

Nice Pics, Bear. That first one is either a TNT or a Blizzard, I can't quite make it out. Back when Men were Men, Gas was all Pre-Mix and Grooming is what they did on Ski Hills!

Oops, just saw the caption at the bottom of the pic, Bleezard!

Hey Indy, the sled to the right of the Moto-Ski is the same one in the picture. It was actually called the Ski Doo Double Eagle
