Anybody try them? i'm just curious. The design doesn't seem all that appealing, seems it would be sorta weak.

Scary IMO but probably will carve like nothing else. Makes sense for agressive hardpack twisty trail riding but highspeed RRBs probably not a good application or any trail with loose snow would be iffy. If works good & holds together all these R models might have them.

split rail skis ride

put a set on my IQ 700.had stock skis with 6in carbibes put on a set of these with 6in carbides also and it was a complety new sled.no darting, hardly any push in the corners.handled awsome.put about 200 miles on traded in sled on a 2010 Rush.swapped the skis between the 2 sleds.got a few weekends in before the meltdown but the Rush is a very fun ride, steersand handles great.
the guys at the company were nice to deal with and answered any questions quickly.
kind of pricey but i`m happy with mine this year.next year with a full season should tell alot.

they look weak. I suspect they are a gimick like the precision skis were, or side hillers, dual carbides, etc. Best ski ever for all around everything is the SLP Powder Pros. I have tried many skis and they seem to cover the most bases. Oh I never tried the powder hounds so can't coment on those. Also toe out on all sleds 1/4" and you would think you were on a new sled. fixes darting, not sure how or why.

Love those deadly steel skis! I remember when I was a kid back in the 70's I had a 74 Doo TnT. Left ski broke just behind the front spring perch as I was going across a field. Ski dug in and came right up thru the belly pan. Don't know how I managed to stay on the sled but I did.

That looks like a good trail ski and that's it. I'm sure they'll handle excellent on trail. Off trail I wouldn't even attempt using those.
