Standing up

Stand up on my 2012 Apex xtx installed riser to do it no use banging my back when can take it with legs then plant my butt whenever possible. Long day on trail feels good to stand in junk....but that's me not right for everyone

You must be short.....I can't stand up and ride that sled.

I am almost 7 foot tall. Standing while riding is hazardous to my head. There are times I wish I could but for me it doesn't make sense.

7'...for real? You'd need a 12" riser or taller?

All depends on trail conditions, off trail stand 80% on the RMK, on trail this season with the rough trails about 50/50 on the Assault

The reason for riser on Apex XTX is to get bars to hands when standing up other wise stock is too low. The amount of rise is more of a custom fit thing for me no idea about height as determining factor for everyone for me at 6 foot+ geared 2 inches was necessary for comfort. What everyone should be aware of is make sure you have riding boots on or could end up with too low a rise.

I cant sit on a sled for more than a couple minutes anymore (need new hip), so my choice is to stand/kneel or not ride. its not as much fun and cant go very fast but it is better than not riding at all.

They already have a riser on them though. How much did you add?

2 inches was good for me for sitting & standing but does pull me snug to tank which I like. Stock was short & allowed me to slide back & laz out & had to bend over to stand up. Prolly be different for everyone leg & arm length no standard different for everyone. Standard cables worked for me at 2" .

Pivoting riser or just straight?
