first night to fire up the old wood burner. Climbed up on the roof and inspected the chimney, checked my connections throughout and all looked good so I fired er up. Had a good layer of frost this morning and not wanting to pay for propane more than I have to. 76 degrees already in here, got the window cracked and am happy as could be. I have seen people burning wood up here in Greenland for about 2 weeks now, mid 30's tonight.

This is a sign of things to come, you know, that white stuff falling from the sky, oh yea!!!!!

yah, i have been using my franklin fireplace for a few weeks now. We had a hard frost the other night in the western UP. Got up and checked the weather channel and it was 29 degrees! I cant wait for John's outlook in a couple of weeks!

My outdoor boiler is running. It has been all summer heating my domestic water. my wife did switch the ball valves the over morning from the bypass to the heat loop. Love my wood heat!
