We will blow thru Thanksgiving quickly and I'm thankful for the good traveling weather this week....BUT... We need groomable snow SOON in Vilas and the UP!! Next 10 plus days look boring for snow & LES so I'm starting to look for that big system snow dumper....don't see it so far.

Yeah Baby!!! FINALLY a storm to watch in the JD 10 day. 
There are some signs of a fairly size-able low pressure to track from the Northern Plains into the northern Midwest by the middle of next week. The models do differ a bit on their thinking with this feature right now, but it has the potential to bring some rains to much of the region, at least initially, with the rains changing over to snow in the northwest and possibly north central Midwest. Depending on how quickly that change over occurs, there could be some significant snows that result in the Northwoods of MN, WI and the UP.

Hmmm, we have our last motorcycle ride for the season on Black Friday...supposed to be 50*. After that it can do whatever it pleases...Most of our trails are marked and mowed. There are a couple small corn fields standing yet, but the weather this week should allow the last farmers to get it all taken off. Sp far so good. Now we just gotta hope the rains don't show up and flood the low lands. Bring on the cold and "the big one" from the Texas panhandle
