More room for debates? please explain. We get insane room here as long as rules are followed. "The rules"............ now that's a stickler!
I think the board would be a lot more popular if there weren't so many rules. Equaling more members, more advertising, more money just like another sled forum I'm on. It's business. When I see threads deleted right and left I think it's ridiculous.

So why not stay over at HCS then and don't post here? Personally, I like the moderating this board gets.

X2, you could check out BCR or Slednutz.
The mods do a great job here. JDee is more family oriented. Nothing is gained or achieved on those sites that allow bashing and slaming brands, etc. I have been to them all and keep coming back here. I have personally met hundreds of people here in person and made many friends. No need to be just another site like the others.
I think the moderating is pretty good right here. John has created a good thing here. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

I think the mods do a great job here. Seems like some of the sophomoric name calling and bashing is starting to trickle over here though too. Hopefully the mods can keep it nipped in the bud. Thanks for a great site.

If I may, Sticklers are all those little annoying
things that you get all over you when you cut
off trail to ride in the winter wheat off to the side.
You always end up with them stuck in the silly
little Velcro squares on the snow flap of your bibs.
A good mod that can cut down on sticklers is cutting
small squares of Velcro and sticking them on you tabs.

We all have an opinion. I have mine and I think it's bad for business. Look at the traffic here and compare. I like the mods too...I just have my view. Threads being yanked for healthy debates is excessive; when people are not degrading others. Type comes out harsher than just talking face to face. I've seen threads get deleted 'in case' they get out of hand when there's no violation of the very rules on the site. That is over moderating.
