STOLEN TOW TRUCK

"I got a bad one I guess some •••• bags stole the bronze placks off the head stones"

Must be real tools. Bronze is worth less then aluminum for scrap.

At the local marina, someone sawed off one of the blades on the prop for the tug. The blade is about 2 feet long. Bronze value at scrap was $40, it was $2800 for a replacement prop.

This truck is believed to be in Aurora Ill. again it is a 2003 Chevy that is a white ext cab with a red wrecker body on the back, the name Juntti's Service is on the doors with checker flag pattern.

phazerpilot if you hear of anything please call me asap, I was talking to the officer at my house when I posted last and told him I was on this wonderful site trying to find any info. I would love to find out where this truck is. The police are going to put a warrant out for the arrest of this person, they know who has it and the WOMAN is from Aurora. I would just like to get this truck back for my boss, I would call him a good friend more than an employer and in a small town this kind of thing sucks. Thank you to all from John Dee for the support and hopefully this can be solved. How great would it be if the great people from this site could find this truck and have this piece of CRAP who took it put in prison.

This is stranger than the way the truck ended up missing. The owner of a chop shop in Chicago called my boss up today to tell him the truck was in the chop shop, then he said he would hold it so he could go and pick it up. Just goes to show that there are honest people where you would think otherwise.

Hey harvest, the shop owner did not take the truck he is the one that returned it, he was good enough to call and say that he had the truck and knew that someone probably wanted it back. Two people took it there to have it checked out to see what they could get for it, the shop owner told them he couldn't look at it till today, he called my boss on Saturday and said come and get it. So now there are going to be 2 upset people that thought they were going to hit it big and the truck is back here.

Hard to make an honest dollar when some think it's OK to steal...Should put them to work for you to keep them out of trouble, and pay back mileage on truck.

I think the Lojack tracking device is a great idea, the police can follow them wherever they go. There was another fellow JohnDee'r that could have used one, he had a 4 place enclosed trailer full of sleds stolen from his driveway! With a lock on the tounge and during the day!
