Storm update from Laurium

It's already been snowing up here something around 36-38 hours straight, albeit very lightly for the most part. Idk how much we've got total but I did just put a ruler into the sidewalk at my house and it's around 5-6 inches currently. Snow has picked up a lot this afternoon, mostly since 2pm or so.

Very excited, obviously, though hopefully it's not too bad first thing in the morning tomorrow as I have nursing clinicals (I go to Finlandia Nursing school) very early and really can't miss them without a lot of trouble.

Here's a couple pics from a few hours ago:

I took these last night around 6pm. The storm was just gearing up after a day of mostly light to moderate fluffy snow and calm winds. After these pictures I drove to Pats and Shopko in Calumet and the roads were awful - as much because of the snow on the roads as because of the near whiteout.

These pics I took earlier this morning. Idk how much we got. It's still snowing now - I will get more pics soon. About to head down to Houghton.
