Strong El Nino and Positive NAO = More Snow

Interesting article with snowfall data under different combinations of El Nino and positive or negative North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO).

In Minneapolis, a strong El Nino and Positive NAO resulted in slightly above average snowfall on average.

Does it mean anything for this year? Doubt it.
