wintergreen lake resort has some outstanding walleye on Friday nights, get there early.
Don't get there too early, either. Wanted to eat lunch there the last Friday of the short season last year and it wasn't open yet. Ended up eating at Sugarbush instead.

My wife and I recently spent a long weekend in St. Germain With venturenorth and his wife, we stopped at our regular favorite stops but tried a new one, Kimball Inn in by Hurley, the place is not that big and hope they keep it that way but the food they put out there is nothing short of phenomenal and would recommend it to anyone! venturenorth had ordered a jumbo lake perch plate and I have never seen a bigger pile of jumbo perch fillets on a plate at a restaurant in my life, first time I have ever seen duck wings on a menu and were delicious and again the food, the atmosphere and the staff were nothing short of awesome!!

Kimball Inn has been a mainstay for years, always great food and service!

OMG, I just found my new bestie place. Longhshot's in Pearson, WI. Awesome ribs and beef brisket, and very reasonable. Girlfriend had the ribs---tender and practically fell off the bone. Brisket was very tender. Lots of extras with both meals. Drinks were very reasonable as well.
