This was right around sunset, you can just make out some of the color change in the sky between the trees...

If you get a chance to see the sun going down over water, you can see the "green flash" that last a millisecond. When we go to the Keys we always watch it.

I heard the sunrise will do the same "green flash", should be easy to see on lake Michigan.

You can look up "Sunset green flash" to see tons of pictures.

We saw that flash when we were in Hawaii on my honeymoon 33 years ago! lol
.
They called it a “spark”. It was pretty cool to see.

Took a break from snow hoping and visited some friends. They live on the dry side so sunsets were pretty decent.

Didn't see the green flash.
Honestly, we had to be on our toes while sun was dropping over the edge. ;)
It happens pretty fast with sun angle.

Just got back from Florida, It was nice to get away. This is not the greatest sunset but this is from Ft. Meyers, after thee Hurricane.

Sunset from the top of the Hotel and a shot of the harbor that still is not open, if you zoom in and look back against the building there is still one boat there half sunk, not sure why.

Back in Manitowish now, no snow, going to be 40 today and 50's this week with one day below 20 on Wednesday. Season is shot, bring on an early Spring I say. We could and will likely get belted in March and April. Last year we had 60" of snow in March and April.
