That does not look good for snow lovers on the surface right now. Looking back at 2014-15 our snowfall in the Keweenaw was below average with 181.5 & 2015-16 was also below average with 176.5. These were under Super El Nino influence, however, the impending development of this event appears to be much stronger than any other recorded. It will be interesting to see how this develops in the coming months.

Thanks for the reminder buddy, for what it is worth, I'm not holding my breath, there is a chance this could go either way snowfall wise. We'll see.

Mezz, you get the whole summer and Fall to think about it again, either way we have to be ready for whatever comes our way, last year started off with a bang on Thanksgiving and really never let up. I love a winter that has a lot of snow, we had -42 one morning and very cold for about 2-3 weeks, rather have 2ft of snow and 20 degree weather.

Last year they changed the whole “slight, moderate, etc”. Each category has hail, tornados, blah blah. Basically they dumbed down their need to be accurate!

I think I paid around $5.49/gal for premium in Shingleton already last winter, not that I am complaining as you want to play you got to pay but it was almost $1.00 cheaper a gallon a little ways north of there

Indiana has "temporarily" suspended the gas tax to help offset the costs of the 4-6 week war in Iran. Governor is trying to figure out what to do next as his authority is limited to 120 days on that, and that won't get it through the midterms. Not that I'm complaining about a reduction in taxes.

My neighbor is POS , but his gas burns just fine in my lawnmower:)

From my POV if you're worried about gas prices in this sport, maybe it isn't for you.

$5.19 E free premium in SE WI. Got to be higher up north due to transportation costs. I believe gas costs will be down by January 2027 I’m more concerned about snow than gas costs right now.

"If you are worried about gas prices in this sport, maybe it isn't for you" couldn't agree more!! same goes for gas prices over all, yes it sucks but IMO.... if a dollar more a gallon at the pump say on a 10 gallon fill up, which costs someone $10.00 more to either get to work, go get groceries, have some fun or whatever it is crimps someone's style...from my POV... you have bigger problems than the gas pump. funny how the same people complaining about gas prices have cases of bottled water in their cart, or a few 12 packs of soda that are $12.00 each when in the not so distant past was about half of that but dont think twice about buying it, or maybe they just paid $50,000.00 over asking price on a house, spend thousands of dollars to belong and will travel cross country so their kids can play in a traveling sport team, but oh that dollar a gallon more is killing me LOL. I'll bet one can find some real hypocrisy if people look into lifestyles of those who bitch about gas prices. On the flip side to that though going beyond the gas prices to deny that it isn't affecting most everything else we pay for is also hypocritic as well. As far as any motorsport goes, general rule of thumb...you want to play you got to pay.

Pete, Premium in MW is $4.99 gallon, always $1.00 gl higher than unleaded. We had to go over to Park Falls last week and gas was .30 cents gal cheaper than MW. Went to a restaurant, nice family type place, clean, new tables and chairs, food was much cheaper, like a Denver omelet in Minocqua is $17.00, it was $9.00 in Park falls. Not going to move to Park Falls but I bet they are paying just as much for their supplies. We are getting price gouged, the oil companies are laughing into profit oblivion.

E free premium is rare here but I can get in East Troy at Kwik Trip and it did get down to $4.99 then bounced back up to $5.19. I’m sure it will down by January but to be honest when I’m snowmobiling I look for the Premium button don’t check the price I need it fill up screw the price.
