Superior snowmobile club - trail work

WOW, I am not sure where the last couple months have gone - here we are into September already. Every day another day closer to December 1st.
Our trail work is scheduled for September 19 and 20 this year. Lots of work to be done. Bridge repairs, brushing, signing, etc. As in other years, if you have nippers, chair saw, ATV, bring them but if you don't have, we'll have plenty for you to do
Those we've talked to are excited about seeing others they've become acquainted with over the years.
Krupp's Resort, in Twin Lakes, is again offering free lodging to our trailworkers. If you haven't already called to reserve a cabin, please do so as soon as possible. 906-288-3404.
Area business's are donating lunches on Fri & Sat. for everyone and on Saturday nite, Krupp's Resort is donating a cook-out for everyone, bon fire, etc.
Any questions, please call - and if you want a bed to sleep in you need to let us know.

Sadly this will be the first one I will miss in years!
It's much more fun than work!
If you haven't done it before I highly recommend doing it!
Its always awesome to see the areas we all ride with no snow! everything looks SO different!
Also you will meet new friends that you might end up finding new riding partners!
also you could join the club! its just $25 bucks and it helps the club in many ways!
I sure wish I could make it this year!
Get your buddies and do it! you'll be glad you did!

We got all the work done and we had more fun than we should have. I just cannot say enough about how nice it is to hang out with all these people, that's how I measure success
,by happiness!

WORK-FUN-FUN-WORK what a great week-end. Weather cooperated, all the necessities of work that needed attention were accomplished-bridges repaired, chain saws buzzing, nippers at work, brushing, sign repairs and replacements. We had a fantastic turnout. Lunches on Fri & Sat were donated by Mosquito Inn, Krupp's Mini-Mart and Dawn Novak. Burger & Brat buns were donated by Bob & Carol Phillips, Saturday nite cook-out, bon-fire, and free-lodging donated by Krupp's Resort. Many are already looking forward to next year, making this part of their vacation plans every year. Big THANKS to ALL who came both from far & local.
