Support a Keweenaw Volunteer Fire Department

I mentioned this in the November 22 journal, but wanted to post it here too.

The Ahmeek Volunteer Fire Dept. needs your help to get equipment to support their Search and Rescue operations in Keweenaw County.

They are the ones that perform the off road search and rescue in Keweenaw County. Should you have an incident in Keweenaw County on a snowmobile, ORV or just hiking, they will be the one's saving your butt. So please follow this link to learn more about their wishes and how you can help.

I rarely get up that way to ride, but no matter.....this is a cause near and dear to my heart. I'll send them some cabbage.

Hey, that'll work. So if yer hung up out in the boonies wit a ded sled maybe they'll be able to show up with a nice hot pot o' cabbage soup to keep ya warm 'til they can get ya out! :devilish:
