Suspension freeze

Has anyone had the rear suspension freeze(as in cold) up?

I lost all the spring pressure in back end, thought I busted a spring in the back.
Threw it in the trailer and heated it up. Checked the springs and all looks ok.

After if thawed out pressure came back on the springs, I guess something froze up?

As stated something froze either shock or if not greased properly moisture in the suspension that caused it to freeze up.

Very common when you have seal going bad and water gets in. Need to get it rebuilt if its rebuildable or a new shock if not

Back in the day... We would roll the sled, usaully an artic, cat on its side.. And we would pee on the shock. That would thaw it out and return the suspension to normal. Tbe next morning it would be froozen again.

Now I know why there were always stickers for sale with a little boy peeing on an Artic Cat, lol!
