Well, they found another reason to stop the selling of military surplus vehicles. Some states were using the fact that the vehicles do not meet safety standards. That did not work like they wanted. So now the EPA has got in to the game.... Because the vehicles do not meet epa standards they are suspending the sales.
This will impact a lot of businesses. Not to mention the dnr or fire departments that buy vehicles and use them. (Any one outside Of DOD.)
The Military Vehicle Preservation Association released an article about this. You won't see mention of this any where else I am sure.
I wonder how much this decision will impact pricing of the ones already out in the public?
It is sad to see they are already destroying all kinds of vehicles and equipment in Afghanistan because of this new policy.

I am a member of the MVPA and own a M35A2 Deuce and a Half. So I may be biased on this one. I think the "save the planet" movement is going to far.
