Suspension problem

I got a 99 sx vmax and i put a used M10 into it. The problem is it has no give. Like the Back shock is frozen. I removed the back shock and pushed down on the back end and it still would only give about 2 inches. I should be able to push down 5-8 inches. Any help would be great. Thanks Jake

did you drill new holes in the suspension? because the m-10 should be longer and you should've had to attach mount brackets or drill new holes. you probably have the shock pinched

Are the arms rusted up from not being greased?
might have ta pull it apart to see, and if there bad enough
to not move itll be hard ta get apart. might wana try removing shock again and try to work it free then pull it apart. good luck!
or if not see indys post. you shoulda had ta drill new holes

i drilled new hole for it and but in the new brackets. i was thinking the same thing last night.
