Has any one had their pipes coated with this product? Or had their engine coated with it? Was wondering if you were happy with the results. Any info at all would be great. We used ceramic coatings on race car motors but would like feed back on 2 strokes.

I had a set of pipes done like 4 yrs ago still look OK some rust coming peeking out but still looking good for 4 yrs.I have a bud who has his piston domes coated he runs allot of nos.he claims the pistons last longer with the top coated but I don't know how he can tell his sleds get at least 1 top end a race season usually 2 or 3.but they don't even run the little nos regulator discs with the 3 or 4or 5 holes in them they just spray full nozzle in to air box

Thanks erza
did you notice any power advantage? did you need to rejet or re clutch? The guy from swain claims it raises power curve 200-300 rpm. What did you find?

well I could not say I had black magic send pipes over to swain and swain to me.so I never tuned with them not coated.I don't know about that curve is that on a warm motor to warm motor?or a cold motor to cold motor?because It would make sense if it was cold yo cold because coated pipe would heat faster.but once hot like real world I would not think side buy side it would make that big of a diff.but I don't know.I do know a warm pipe makes more power than a cold pipe but after 3min all pipes are warm

I had my whole exhaust(Except inside of muffler box) ceramic metallic coated.

It was an EFI machine.. It ran no differently.. but the sound was a little different (I liked it) It had more of a rap to it.

Lasted very well for 4-5 years, after that surface rust starting popping through here and there. Still looked a LOT better than rusted steel after 1 year..
