Switching out hubs

I have a Floe trailer with the oil bath turbo lube hubs. I hate the hubs, they have leaked constantly since new. Can I simply switch out the hubs for Sure Lube grease fitting hubs or is there more to it than that? Will the sure lube hubs match up to the axle or would switcing hubs require swapping axles?

Something I thought about after posting. I'm pretty sure the oil bath hubs are a threaded cap. If thats the case it probably won't work to put a press in cap (Bearing Buddy style) on a threaded hub.

Floe made that switch under warranty for me some time ago. They had a machining issue from the hub supplier and the seals were getting cut upon installation so I was told. I think they replaced the hubs but the axles were not replaced.

Rupp, did they replace the hubs with new oil bath hubs or did they replace them with sure-lube type hubs? My trailer is going on 10 years old so I doubt I will get any warranty support. When did you buy your trailer? Wonder if I have the same problem and just need to replace with new oil bath hubs.

I would remove the oil clean the bearings and hand pack the bearings with grease you will be fine no need to change out the hubs or axles or the covers, an oiled bearing is the same as a greased bearing the seals would be very similar just hand pack them every couple years.
