Take a look at these guys...

When I was younger I did do this, but in my father's farm field where if I fell off, the out of control snowmobile would hit either nothing or a fence. Not on a public trail when an out of control sled could hit another person. Also, you can tell they don't have the experience to control these sleds or else they wouldn't be sideswiping trees or each other; again, on public trails. Image if they did this on public roads with crochrockets or street racers instead of public snowmobile trails.

Because no one got hurt it is okay, right! What if someone got hurt, I bet some of us would be saying something else or the ones that act like this would be saying nothing at all, right!

They are exactly what we do not need on the trail. Total disregard for anyone but themselves.

Off trail, wrong side of trail, ran over tree, wrong side of trail in a corner, etc.

You talk about what closes trails, watch the video again. They are obviously not club members.

Watch some of John Dees 1st "Born to ride" vhs tapes. .

I am not sure if this was meant to imply. But just for a clarification, all of the riding done by myself and the rest of my riding group in any of the BTR videos was done on private land and with the permission of the landowners. There were segments of riders racing down the public trails at high speed, but they were not part of our group, I was not there when that was filmed, nor was I even aware that such filming was being done. The BTR videos are produced and owned by Dobson Entertainment and are solely responsible for their content. Not me.

In my opinion, what someone does on their own private property or that which they have permission to, with their own machinery, while endangering only themselves and others (who understand and have made the conscience decision to potentially be in harms way) in their specific group, is fine. When such acts are done on public trails what endanger others who have not given permission to have their well being threatened, nor are even expecting it, is wrong.

Absolutely no intention to imply. No harm intended in anyway. Just used Dobson film as a reference.
Point I'm trying to make is the riding in the video is very commonly seen with many riders. Especially the younger crowd but not limited to them.

Playing around in the middle of a lake, away from people, as shown in video is acceptable IMO as well, their trail riding antics is what they were doing wrong. Great evidence that they put on Youtube.

The only time I horse around is on a lake or WAY off the trails. Goofing off on the trails is bad stuff, putting others at risk.

This video is kind of mild, but there are a few jerk-off moments.

I think a few people on this thread don't understand the word hypocrisy. Just because they did it before but don't do it now doesn't make someone a hypocrite when speaking out against destructive behavior. You're only a hypocrite if they say something against it now and still participate in the same behavior. Based on your understanding of the word hypocrite, an ex-gang member who sold drugs, paid a price for it and learned not to do it is a hypocrite because he is telling the youth not to participate in the same behavior.

While a number of people might have acted the same way when younger, if they don't do it now they are more than free to speak out against it; they are not hypocrites, they are enforcing social norms. Yes, we all become our fathers.

Where did I miss the "Don't no more" part. You saying we got 18,877 "learned" people on this site?

Back in the late 80's out of ten of us there wasn't a tail light left in any of our sleds after a weekend of riding. From the looks of the video the last guy might have a bent tunnel...
