Take the DNR survey and say "no expanded Holiday Hunts!"

The Holiday Deer Hunt is nothing new for you guys down in the CWD areas but after the new Deer Trustee Report recommendations the DNR is thinking about expanding this hunt north to zones south of Hwy 64. Hwy 64 runs from Marinette to Merrill to Bloomer. The season runs from Dec. 24 through the Sunday nearest Jan. 6. If you want trails to open before January 7th take the DNR survey below and tell them what you think!

This really isn't about killing more deer.....it is about missing a very important part of snowmobiling season here in Northern Wisconsin. We NEEEEEEEEED snowmobiles in town between Christmas and New Years

NO WAY! If there is a Holiday Hunt, trails in that area will not open until the hunt is over. How many people would be upset with 2' of snow on the ground, and have to wait for the hunters to be done before they can ride.
