I rode the 08 Nytro that blutooth rented and thought it was OK. I think it would perform well at sealevel but it doesnt feel very powerful at 10,000 ft. Maybe it was the clutching? The rear suspension was set way too soft so it bottomed out. It had some ice on the adjustment blocks so we couldnt move them.
Negatives:
*It was hard to get adjusted to it when carving & sidehilling. It would either lean too far or not enough.
*The back of the sled seemed heavy to lift when you get it stuck.
*No handgaurds
Positives:
*The wide skis worked well with the 38" stance.
*The 153"x2.25" camo mavrick track is perfect.
Awesome pics guys. I need to get out west someday. Ain't it amazing the stuff we will put up with and drive through to go and play. That's called DEDICATION, or is it insanity ; ) ?
There is a Yammi rental company in the parking lot at snowy mountain lodge. It was $175 for the Nytro. They had 3 day discounts but I'm not sure what they are. Same prices as WI and MI for a liquid cooled sled. There was a ski-doo dealer in town that had XP 800R 154's for the same price but we would have to trailer it up.
Golden conditions White gold everywhere the eye can see. As always awesome video and pics! 27 more days!<font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font>
It was over $4 gallon ($4.40 I think). We brought 30 gallons on the trailer + Jerry cans on the sleds and it lasted two days. Then we went down the mtn for dinner and filled them up again.
