Up to -31 with -42 windchill now. Was way worse yesterday when wind was blowing hard. Not that big of a deal. We have seen this before. Probably affecting the Il people a lot worse. One more night and then HOT out.

Yeah we have driven across ND before and seen -38 on the truck thermometer. The windows were to cold to rest your arm on the door arm rest with a tshirt on.
I didnt stay outside when pumping fuel either. haha

Interesting timing for the visit to our fair city. Concur with the wind chill although I did have -38 at 7 AM. Supposed to match it tomorrow morning.

It looks like we bottomed out at -31 a little before midnight, the wind switched to the south and we are warming up, it is already up to -28

I am showing 39 below in Tower MN currently. I am sure it’s colder in some of the lower spots near town. It’s still is a long way a off from the 60 below we had in 1996.
