Actually the panhandle of TX, Amarillo for example, does get snow more regularly than the rest of the state, like 20 inches a year on average depending on elevation. This storm is impressive as its almost their yearly average. Hopefully we get our big storm in the Northern Midwest soon! I don't think they have snowmobile trails there
