I am not surprised this was returned, people in the UP are solid folks. I would also say that most of us "biler's" are decent folk as well. Glad you got it back!

Over the years of johndee.com some of the lost & found stories have been amazing and this website has helped make many connections in finding rightful owners. Thanks again, John Dee.

I am so grateful to get my wallet and camera back. Two the most valuable items!

I lost several items that day on the trail #17 and/or trail #3 going from AmericInn Motel towards Lake Linden and Houghton. Other items still missing: Ski Doo black cap, snowmobile red aluminum shovel, pink Pocket Juice- rechargeable power bank with white cord, black pouch with 4 zippers. In one of the compartment I had WI Brewer's small notebook with black Profile Paper Mate pen. The pouch contained also other items: black electric tape, red flashlight, hand warmers, first aid kit, etc.

Somehow my Ski Doo LinQ tunnel bag came unzipped and everything flew out of the bag. Maybe I forgot to buckle it for double security. I'm really not sure. Lesson learned to never put any valuables in the bag that's out of sight.

Thank you again to a man with two sons on snowmobiles for returning my wallet and camera!!! What a great example to teach your kids!

I will second people in the UP and northern WI are good people. Had a bad battery issue on a 4 stroke sled. No way to turn it over except jump it. None of us had the jumpers and waited for a nice lady to swing by. She borrowed us her cables but as soon as we took them off, the machine would run very rough. We were worried about making it back and offered to buy the cables from her. She asked where we were staying, and said lando. She said that is where she is from and gave us her address to drop them off at her house when we were done. Just Great!
