thanks again for the hospitallity.you guys were over the top. after a 500 mile ride on saturday, the use of your truck to go to town and see the paulding light really meant alot.you and mike are very kind people and look forward to staying this winter.

michaeladams you are sooo welcome!....when I read this it really made me smile :) glad old blue was here for you. It was great meeting you and we look forward to this winter too! Oh I forgot to ask...did you see the light?

thank you for the nice things you guys said, we're so glad to hear we make people feel special, thats what its all about.....:)

when we started coming to the U.P. in the 80's we were so lucky to stay with some great resort/cabin owners, we used their trucks, slept in their extra bedrooms, they've waited up for us when they knew we were caught in a blizzard and even saved us dinner...we always said when we buy our place we wanted to be kind like they were to us and we have always lived by this....do to others as you would like others to do to you.....

And that's a great philosophy to live by mrsrunningbear! To me that's the charm of going to the UP. And it's people like you that help preserve it! :)

yes,we did see the light.unless it was severe mosquito repellant toxic shock.we didn't stay long but will check them out again on future visits,especially looking forward to snowmobiling over there to see them as there will be no bugs and probably fewer viewers.just like we know where to eat, so do the mosquitos.
