Yeah thanks John, this site is truly like a big family gathering site. Sure we at times have our disagreements but so does any family. With the current state of our economy it's nice to see a site owner not worry so much about his greed and cater more to his members.

You have it nailed. "win-win-win". It is unfortunate Snowest dose not share your view. There is a wheath of great people and great info over there, and a lot of them are going to move on.

Thank you for all you do to keep this site going, and for having the foresight to realize the "value" of free content.

Just a thought, maybe a western riding section? We might end up recruting some of the people fleeing SW.

I had the exact same idea. I do plan to have a "Western Riding" section in the new board. There is already quite a bit of conversation about western riding on the current board, but I have a feeling it will be growing (regardless of what happens at Snowest).

Good idea! and look for it on the new board.

I share your "feeling" it will grow. I believe flatlanders heading west is developing into a niche( spelling nash?) market in and of its self, and having a dedicated section could only be a good thing. It will most likley take on a life of its own. I will look forward to seeing it come about.

Snowest just slit their wrists. Sledhead members unite. If we must pay Snowest than they can send there mag were the sun don't shine! I can live without there 10% Tog. discount. Momsmotorsports does better with Tog.anyways with prices. My 2 cents.

Yet another thanks for staying free. Snowest will probably go from one of the biggest and best to one of the smallest. I have a feeling the decision will soon be regretted by them. Another nice thing if you are using the same sort of software as Snowest and many others would be to have separate "folders" for the different manufacturers.

Thanks John, been a lurker and part time poster for several years. LOVE your site! Counted on it numerous times for weather and trail cams. Sold place in u.p. and moved west (panhandle Idaho). Snowest going to pay to use will hurt the site big time. Its only $10 but many won't pay and site will lose many good peeps. Thanks for your site.

John you take it EASY... After a major surgery the best thing for you is to take a year off.... We need you and your family needs you... This is the best site on the web for snow lovers. We need you around buddy and getting stuck in 4 ft of U.P. powder is tough ticker. Be safe.... God bless

It would be great if you added a western riding section. Although I am and will always be a flatlander it would be good to have a decent place to go to find out about riding out west. If I ever did go out west it would be very helpful to have input from the many intelligent and experienced members that use this site.
