I rode the actual snowmobile trail on atv today and wow is it a disaster. Pics are from around the Greenland area.

We stayed at 50 all night and rapid snow melt. I ran over to Mass last night to get some ice cream for the kids and heard a local women say, never in her life had she seen this rapid of a melt down, she was about 50.
 
That fast a meltdown is not hard to believe when its been 60 to 75 degrees for that long. When has that high of a temp been sustained for that long in March?

i guess we set all time record temp for the month of march at the nws station in negaunee. here in the keweenaw we got close to 80 might have hit 80 actually snow is melting incredibly fast i think by wednesday it will be gone besides for the big snow piles but any woods snow will probably be gone

I just came back from Twin Lakes for a strudel and the snow is a little more there but looks like it's done even in the woods. You can see a few roads that stay out of the sun that are still covered but there are few of those even.
