Cost of Hyfax - 35.00
Cost of Carbides - 200.00 (still have the Doo Precision Ski's)

My 23 Year Old Son still wanting to spend the better part of a week riding with the old man - PRICELESS

Just spent 3 days with my son riding. Took a chance and came up to Copper Country and had an absolute blast. Cannot miss these opportunities.

AND THE BEST PART: After 500 miles our Hyfax are just fine (no need to replace), and I left our old carbides on for this trip. New ones are still safe at home in the package.

Sounds like you had a blast with your son, that's great! Gotta take advantage while you can.

Thats Awesome !
I'd give up my sled (and just about anything else) to have a trip like that with my boy. This is the 2nd winter he's been gone over seas in the Air Force. Got to do it while you can because before you know it, thier living there own life.
Hopefully we'll have that trip someday. Hopefully !!!

AWESOME rev500! It may not be ideal conditions for some people right now but I can't think of any other way to spend New Years, it has been a 7 year tradition coming up to the Keweenaw. We are going to have a blast! T minus 48 hours, whoot whoot!!!!!

SNOWING! We are on our way back and it was snowing in Calumet when we left and is still snowing and we are almost to Ispheming. Roads are snow covered and it is coming down pretty goode were we are now. I will post again as we get farther throught he UP toward Macinaw. Hopefully it keeps it up so that you all have some new snow to run on this weekend.

.....Are you sure you don't mean Harry Chapin - Cats and the Cradle and the Silver Spoon.... Kind of showing our age! My son just went back to DC and my Son in Law to Texas. Was hoping to get some riding in like old times but Mother Nature didn't play fair. Still had a great time with the family. Maybe next year.....

AGE?????? Whats that? Hitting 50 next year. Things hurt a little longer but pain is only a feeling. What you do with that is what determines your age when it comes to activities. I simply focus on the goal to being able to be active when I am 70. This keeps me on track now. With that said I have beat myself up in Hockey my whole life and have had both hips replaced and may be heading for a shoulder replacement. Hips are great though. What they can do today is incredible. Challenge today is to have the insurance that will put you in a position to take advantage of it. It was not cheap for us to have the sugery's but without the insurance I have it would not have happened. And,, thank goodness for the US, in many other countries I would still be waiting to get something like that done.

What have some you you had to do to keep active in these crazy sports that we like?

By the way, the snow stopped at about Marquette. Just left there and it is overcast with flurries and 29 degrees. Still doing the snow dance......
