We're taking a break from what little I do around here and head out for a cabin rental that we were lucky to snag over the 4th. Hoping to beat the traffic by leaving in the middle of the week, a three hour drive will put us smack dab in the middle of Northern Wisconsin. My wife took this picture from a couple of years ago of me doing what I like best when on vacation. NOTHING!
And I'll gladly trade mosquitoes and bugs for a break from today's current events, politics, and scandals. Should I cross paths with either Sasquatch or the Bald-Headed Bear of Claire County, I'll let you know. Have a safe 4th and try not to burn the place down while I'm gone. See ya out there!

I didn't have a cell fone for 3 weeks. Went bananas the first two weeks but by the third week I was enjoying life a little better. Too bad I have to have a cell fone.

Nice view!! My kind of place and doing just what you said... absolutely nothing!! this is supposed to be a Saturday we are closed (and probably should be as I doubt we will be busy) but since the 4th is on a Tuesday this year we are closing Monday, so unfortunately we will be hitting the road and head to our place with everyone else on Saturday after 11 a.m. and return Wednesday morning, do a little fishing, a little drinking and a lot of like you said..."NOTHING"... ENJOY!!!
