THE last ride of the 2010 2011 season

One last ride, that is what I was thinking for most of last week. After checking with John, and Lori Sleeman about snow depths in the woods, the forecast was for sun and 60 degree temps, I decided I was going to do it. I threw the sled in back of the truck Thursday night after work, and headed up Friday morning. I met Dave and Lori Sleeman, from the Wildlife Refuge Cabins, at the Mosquito around noon, and away we went. Saturday we were joined by Jim and Mike Lehman and their bud Bill. 114 miles is what I ended up with for the two days. Thanks to Dave and Lori for the hospitality, and letting me tag along!

How does that old commercial go? $190 is truck gas, 525 miles on the truck, 80 bucks in sled gas, riding in April in the U.P., PRICELESS!

Skylar sometimes you just got to say *** and go for it, glad you got up for one more ride, I sure want one, my sleds are still ready to go just in case we get that big spring blast

all that fun and administrator didnt go with you what gives.does dave sleeman have a sps high seat on his sled. nice pics that cold spell 2 wks ago helped hold it this long
