Anyone have just short of $2 mil laying around? Have to have some pretty good winters for those mortgage payments. Good luck to the current owners and any future owners.

Yep Parkview still for sale. I think in the case of the Mariner and Parkview, the owners are at, or near retirement.

Parkview owners are younger than me, alot of help from mom & dad / in-laws with running the place. It is family that owns it. The1 owner used to live with me and as far as I know commutes from his main job in ATL, and his wife is an optometrist. Just saying I know it isn't retirement for them.

It seems every thing in the UP is for sale. Just keep it listed at insane price and hope some one comes along and wants to live the UP dream.

Mariner North was packed everytime I was there in Autum & Winter. Rest of the year just don't know? Always was the place to stay in CH not much competition. One place we stayed in CH you could feel the wind blow thru so put blankets on the windows to keep some air out but still drafty with 50mph winds off the lake.lol Never again Mariner North when in CH or we would go someplace else.

Could be? I know I need to play catch up with the O'Clair's. I knew 1 brother was out, but I wish the Johnson's luck if that is the case

I see Konteka in White Pine is for sale also. Thats 2 very happening spots for sale. Good luck to them and any new owners.

Well it is confirmed after getting an email today, Parkview is completely owned by mom and dad. We hope to meet with the previous owners in early Dec. Good luck to Bill and Dorthy as owners!

Sort of off topic but I filled up the car yesterday for $3.20/gallon twice yesterday while traveling for work.

Down to $3.59 in eagle river, wi last time I looked it was $3.95 a couple days ago. Must be election time?

I'm sure if the President has control over gas prices, he'd have them a whole lot lower than they are now to "get votes". Get real
