Snowing very steady now and fairly hard in Greenland. Just came back from Twin Lakes and hit heavy pockets of snow where you could only drive 20 mph, I love it!
I think he lives somewhere south of Rochester. That's what he was talking about.

You can blame my wife for turning me into such a snow storm pessimist! LOL!
We have a fantastic trail system. Plus two groomers. Bluff country!! Just don't tell anyone....

im prob going to drive down to rochester today so im there already..r u riding?
No snow yet pal. I am an hour south of roch as well. Nothing but fields up there to ride in. As soon as its fit I am riding!! Been a few years since I was able to road ride... Tonight maybe?????

i am going to grab my sled..hopefully get it studded in rochester today(it my new used backup-my new one still at kips) and head down..where should i go? should i go all the way to la crescent? or caledonia? or rushford-eyota?
would like to ditch bang them nice farm ditches down there

NWS is already letting the air outta the baloon...what was 7 to 11 this AM is now down to 4 to 7, which means MAYBE 3". Sigh.....
HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED THROUGH MID-EVENING. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 INCH PER HOUR WILL OCCUR. TOTALS FROM 8 TO 12 INCHES ARE EXPECTED.
WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH COULD RESULT IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING IN OPEN AND UNSHELTERED AREAS...ESPECIALLY THIS EVENING. THE EVENING COMMUTE WILL BE TREACHEROUS.
SNOW SHOULD THEN TAPER TO A LIGHT SNOW FROM SOUTH TO NORTH AFTER MID-EVENING.

Just said on the local forecast that the system will be dry, only 2-3 inches for northern wi. Another bust!

The heaviest snow looks to be sliding south and east of me.
