Super bowl champs...2 months later and that
still sounds good.....doesnt it?? Beating the bears in
nfc championship game...priceless!!! Not trying to
rub it in...just trying to enjoy it....hope the lock out
ends soon...and we have a season.

I dont know about u guys, but baseball and basketball
just dont cut it for me. I ' ll watch the hockey playoffs,
but then it's wait until july for football.

Maybe im weird...but I just cant get into nascar..bores
me to death.

So packer fans...enjoy it....might not happen again.

I agree! I have no use for the NBA if they went away I would not miss them. I do follow baseball a bit and enjoy going to Miller Park in the summer but nothing like the NFL! let's hope they figure it out b4 the season and we get to watch the pack try to make it back to back super bowls!!

I also love the Packers, that was a special season, and the NFL has no peers in competing sports but..........

I can't support either side in this ridiculous Lock-Out. Both the players and owners are incredibly fortunate to have the income and resources of today's marketplace.

8 Billion a year is not enough for both sides to live on? Are you kidding me?

Meanwhile, back here in the Real World the cost of groceries and gasoline continues to climb at alarming rates. Many are out of work and the rest of us are worried about the jobs that we do have.

8 Billion a year? Are you serious? You can't split that up and be happy? C'mon man.

Here's my prediction as to how it ends; Nothing happens all summer, posturing, threats, maybe a meeting or two, and then the middle of September arrives. All of a sudden both sides start losing millions every week and then we see some resolution. We might miss the first week or two of the season as it'll take time to ramp up for the season with training camps, but I doubt it goes much further than that.

8 Billion a year and you guys can't find a way to work with that? I'm thinking College Football could generate some huge crowds this year. What do you think?

Hey, thanks for letting me vent, I feel a lot better already.

Johnny Jolly

Not to put a negative twist on this, as i'm a die hard Packer fan. Hear about Johnny Jolly? He could have been a great player and threw it all away. If you have not heard, he got pulled over in Houston, TX on a traffic violation. His license was suspended and he had 600 grams of codeine in the car (200 is a felony). This is after being suspended for substance abuse issues. Now he can kiss his promising career goodbye. What a shame.

Yeah saw the Jolly stuff..doesn't surprise me...he wasn't around last year, so the packers really don't know what his potential could have been, and it sounds like Jenkins might be going too...but...the defensive line is one area that green bay has alot of good young players, and some depth (if they can stay healthy). If there is an nfl season next year....it will be real intersting in the nfc north...Detroit is on the rise...if minnesota can get a good veteran QB they can move right back into contention...I think the vikings will be making a mistake if they draft a QB...their defense is the bread and better of that team, and they are getting old...they can't wait for a QB to develop.
I don't think cutler is the answer for the bears, who also have an aging defense...don't know...but cutler didn't impress me...I know bears fans like him...Gonna be interesting.

NFL= National Football Lockout and it won't end soon don't think there will be a season at all I live close enough to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and they have not annouced yet the teams that will play in that Hall of Fame game so if they have not done that it's going to be a very very long season without football and thank God I like Nascar so it won't be as bad for me GO STEELER"S and GO DALE E JR and Tony Stewart !!!!!!!!!!
